My name is Jim Cowan, historian, storyteller, and passionate about Cardiff and Wales. In 2009 I set up Cardiff History and Hauntings, offering a series of guided walks, to explode the myth that Cardiff is a modern city with no history, and reveal fascinating facts about its history, legends and hauntings.

Since then thousands have walked with me through Cardiff hearing entertaining stories about its forgotten characters, eye opening moments in its history and, of course, its frightening ghosts!

In 2012 I was delighted to take this mission beyond Cardiff, and across wider Wales, with “Wales History and Hauntings”.  My aim is to explore, excite and thrill with stories seldom told but which offer a rich insight into Wales’s history, its legends, and its ghosts.   In less than a year, the Margam Ghost Walk has been rated, by the travel website "Tripadvisor" as the number 1 attraction in the Neath Port Talbot region.  In and beyond 2013 I want to continue this mission, discovering and sharing more wonderful atmospheres and stories of this wonderful undiscovered land of Wales.
